Trinity Training Institute

(Project of Hatune Foundation UAE Chapter & Supported by Holy Trinity Church Dubai)

 


Trinity Training Institute is established in support of Holy Trinity Church, Dubai. It is inaugurated by Rev. John Weir, Chief Chaplain of Trinity Church, Dubai on 08.09.2008 and thereafter the classes are running wonderfully. The total strength is 50 women students and it is divided into 2 batches at 25 each. Classes for the 1st batch will start by 9 AM and will end at 12 Noon. The 2nd batch will start at 1 PM and will end at 5 PM. The courses offered are Electrical Embroidery, Garment Manufacturing , Hand Embroidery , Saree Painting, Umbrella Making, Candle Making etc. The duration of course is 6 months. The Chief Instructor Mrs. Reena Reji who is well qualified and experienced hand. Chief Project Offer Mr. Ramesh from Carmel Polytechnic Alleppey is visiting at regular interval to monitor the quality of teaching , syllabus , supervision etc. The conduct and discipline of the Institute is excellent. After the successful completion of the course the Government Polytechnic Alleppey will conduct examination and they will issue certificates on behalf of the Community Polytechnic Scheme a Project established by Ministry of Human Resources, Government of India. The courses are conducting at free of cost. Besides training are given in social aspects for the women empowerment and the following extra curricular programmes were conducted.

a) Seminar on Health :- A health seminar were conducted on 7th October 2008 at Trinity Training Centre. The entire students actively participated in the Seminar and Dr. Sajeev from Kozhencherry Government Hospital conducted the Seminar and he took class about the health problems of women.

 
b) Epidemic Seminar :- There was a class on 2nd November 2008 at Trinity Training Centre. The entire students actively participated in the Seminar and Dr. Jayaprakash from Thiruvalla Government Hospital conducted the Seminar and he took class about the epidemic disease.

 
c) Medical Camp:- A free medical camp for the students as well as the poor inhabitants were conducted on 17.11.2008. Doctors from various hospitals participated and consultation as well as free medicine distribution were done. Sr. Hatune Dogan and team from Germany were also participated. 120 patients were consulted at the camp and medicines distributed to them. Doctors for Gynecology , General Medicine and Cardiac were participated.

 
d) X’mas Celebration:- X’mas celebration of the students were conducted on 18.11.2008. Various cultural programmes were performed by the students. Sr. Hatune Dogan , Sri. Victor T. Thomas, Sunny from UAE chapter of Sister Hatune Foundation were the Chief Guests.

The Institute formulating its programmes so as to give good academic training as well as exposure on various social matters so as to mould the students as good citizens as well as good human beings. We pay our thanks to Chaplaincy of Dubai and Sharjah with the Northern Emirates for opening a way to the life of numerous poor families by establishing such a free training institute for women empowerment.
